Tuesdays In Tribeca

Hi Everyone,

Yes its been a while since I’ve had the time to post here…getting married in 10 days so we have been busy planning! Been hard at work developing something a little different for all of you though. Check out this little piece I put together with Dave from The Studio Photographers. You can find them doing their thing in downtown NYC almost every Tuesday. This feature gives you a little look into what its like on one of their engagement shoots…we had a blast! Let me know what you think. We’re Moving!!!

Hi everyone!

Just wanted to let you know we are moving to another location.  The past 7 years have been great for us at our Aberdeen store.  Recently after speaking with our good friends and colleagues The Studio Photographers, they  have offered us an opportunity to expand our business to the north NJ area.  We have decided to take them up on their offer and join them at 315d Millburn Avenue, Millburn, NJ  07041.  Fortunately they also have a location at 104 West Main Street, Freehold, NJ  07728  which we will be using to service all of our South NJ brides and grooms.  Phone number is still the same 732 566 8007.  Be sure to stop in and check out some of the new styles we will be introducing over the next few months!

Michele & Peter’s Wedding Recap

Hey everyone,

Saturdays weather wasn’t exactly the type of weather a bride & groom would like for their wedding day, but that didn’t stop Michele & Peter from having the most perfect wedding a bride & groom could ask for. They ceremony was held at St. Joseph, St. Thomas in Staten Island. Afterwards we headed over to the West Mount C.C. for their reception. They both had smiles from ear to ear all day and were such a fun couple to have the pleasure working with.Here is a sample of how the first half of their day went. Thank you both so much for letting us work with you and capturing your memories. We had a blast doing it!

Nicole & Michael @ The Venetian

Wow what a day yesterday! We where all a little wet but Nicole & Michael didn’t let a little rain get in the way and they where all smiles the whole day through. We had a great portrait session at The Venitian later in the evening but here is a little sample from the portraits we did at church. I took out the new canon camera for these and did a little experimenting. Thanks for a great day of shooting you guys where awesome!

Victoria’s Sweet Sixteen @ Addison Park with The Studio

Hi! We just finished putting together Victoria’s Sweet 16 video this week, Thanks Victoria you did great!!!! I worked with Frank from The Studio Photographers on this one at the Addison Park and of course good times as usual! I had the chance to bring out my new Canon 7D to shoot the portraits and opening footage. Sean, Wayne’s son, edited this one for me and did a great job bringing the energy up a notch with our new shooting style. 2010 is going to be a big year for Emerald, trying some new things so your feedback is really appreciated. Enjoy!!

Addison Park Demo Footage

Anthony and I recently spoke about putting together a video to help showcase all of the great things about Addison Park. So I am trying out my new camera system and putting together a short video for them. Here is the “Very Rough” draft…still lots more to shoot and once that is done I will cut it to new music and fancy it up.

Something new for 2010

Hi everyone…yes its been a while since my last post. I have been busy working on some new techniques over the past few months and finally got the chance to try things out today. Here is a small sample clip of what will be our new cinematic short form film package. I am really excited to work on some more samples to share with you. We will will be offering this style as an option to our traditional packages to all future Brides & Grooms by mid 2010. Special thanks to Tiffany for letting us experiment, she was so great and we had lots of fun! Although Jessica and Joe have been married for more than 2 years, I have always told them that I wanted to feature them on my website. Both Jessica and Joe seemed to have jumped out of a page from Modern Bride, with their attention to detail in planning their day gave them the expressions that every videographer looks for when shooting a bride and groom. Every vendor was hand picked, which gave this couple great comfort on a normally stressful day and the end result was that they didn’t seem to have a care in the world. I always feel that a stress free bride and groom make for the most natural looking reactions you could want in a couple and their expressions throughout the day told it all. From the first moment Joe saw Jessica walking down the aisle until the last dance of the night was played, they truly enjoyed every minute of their Wedding Day. Thanks again guys for all of the positive feedback you have shared about us to others and best of luck with your beautiful baby girl Ashley.

Mesode & Victor @ The Addison Park

Once a month we plan on putting together a highlight video of one of our couples that we have recently worked with.  Here is our pick for July 09.  We had a beautiful day…the first in almost a month!  I met Mesode at the Hilton in East Brunswick where she got ready with her family.   I caught Victor on the way out the door to the church and we got all of the fellas together.  After a beautiful ceremony we made our way to Addison Park for an evening full of great food, excitement, and dancing.  Mesode and Victor looked great and where an absolute pleasure to work with.
